Sun Wah BBQ will be open with LIMITED HOURS for Thanksgiving, November 26, 2026. Doors open that Thursday morning at 8:30am where we begin fulfilling orders for our BYO Turkey event. This continues non-stop throughout the day until the final pick-up slot at 5:00pm. Meanwhile, the dining room avails itself to dine-in patrons. Those who made reservations well in advance will be brought to an awaiting table while walk-ins might face lengthy wait times. FINAL SEATING for the dining room is 4:30pm. The upside? Our bar has a selection of tasty beverages. Expect a bustling carry-out counter as well….
The lines tend to be extra-long as folks will be gathering last-minute Chinese BBQ items to round out their feasts or to pick up a carry-out order.
As of this posting before November 1st, there’s a good likelihood that all reservations for Thanksgiving Thursday will be claimed by November 10th-ish so act promptly. An additional strategy move for those considering a carry-out order on Thursday: Given all the cylinders that will be firing that day, a walk-in carry-out order might take a bit longer to fulfill. Phoning in your carry out order a week in advance indicating it’s for Thanksgiving pickup might turn out to be a major time-saver. If not, waiting time spent at the bar with a Lychee Martini or Lucky Buddha is said to tick by much quicker.
