Sun Wah BBQ will be open with LIMITED HOURS for Thanksgiving, November 26, 2026. Doors open that Thursday morning at 8:30am where we begin fulfilling orders for our BYO Turkey event. This continues non-stop throughout the day until the final pick-up slot at 5:00pm. Meanwhile, the dining room avails itself to dine-in patrons. Those who made reservations well in advance will be brought to an awaiting table while walk-ins might face lengthy wait times. FINAL SEATING for the dining room is 4:30pm. The upside? Our bar has a selection of tasty beverages. Expect a bustling carry-out counter as well….

Sun Wah BBQ’s BYO Thanksgiving Turkey event heralds the year’s end is right around the corner. We’ve announced our annual service on October 25 and within days, patrons have gobbled up all allotted spots. This is our annual service where a turkey is finished in the Sun Wah BBQ style; similar to a Hong Kong style roast duck, we’ll treat the turkey cavity with ingredients like bean paste, house-blended 5-spice, cilantro, shallots and ginger.

Tuesday’s a great day to acknowledge the awesomeness of noodles. Sun Wah BBQ meets this occasion with a prolific offering starting with noodle types ranging from vermicelli mai-fun noodles to thin wonton egg noodles to wide rice noodles. Combine that with all the various cooking styles whether it be soup noodles, lo meins, or stir fry and it becomes clear the scope of our noodle dishes can feel infinite.
September 26, 2026 – National Dumpling Day
It’s National Dumpling Day on Saturday, September 26. Sun Wah BBQ’s menu offers a selection to fit this occasion. It starts with our pan-fried Postickers or Deep Fried Wontons from our Appetizer category. Har Gow and Siu Mai are now available as an all-day Dim Sum offering, and don’t forget the Wontons and Shrimp Dumplings from our Soup Noodle category.
September 25, 2026 – National Lobster Day
It’s National Lobster Day on Friday, September 25, and Sun Wah BBQ continues to offer fresh lobster flown in regularly from the Eastern seaboard. It’s directly sourced to eliminate any chances of the lobster languishing in the typical distributor-to-distributor transit shuffle. Our live tank will only be stocked with just enough lobsters to make their stay a short one. When we’re out, we’re out until the next supply flies in. If you see lobster in our tanks, order it for a decadent Lobster Noodle or stir-fried with Ginger Scallion.
September 20, 2026 – National Fried Rice Day
Sunday recognizes and celebrates the all-inclusive ubiquitous menu staple that can be a self-contained meal all on its own or serve as an integral part of a major feast. Sun Wah BBQ offers a Fried Rice variety to suit a range of tastes from a BBQ Pork Fried Rice made with our in-house Char Siu to the combo motherlode of the Yen Chow Fried Rice.
Sept 7, 2026 – Open Labor Day
Sun Wah BBQ will be open throughout it’s regular hours on Labor Day Monday, September 7.
August 22, 2026 — Closed for Private Event
Sun Wah BBQ will only be open until 5:00pm for Saturday, August 22nd. For the rest of that evening, the restaurant will be closed to the public for a scheduled private event. Final seating for dine-in service will be at 4:00pm.
2026 Summer Vacation Schedule
Sun Wah BBQ’s annual extended vacation break has completed and the restaurant is now back in operation throughout our normal business hours.
July 4, 2026 — Open on July 4th
Sun Wah BBQ will be OPEN through its normal business hours for Saturday’s Independence Day. Carry out counter opens at 9:00am. Dining room begins service at 10:30am paused only by a 40 minute staff break at 2:00pm. Service continues until our kitchens close at 8:30pm. Please note we stop taking reservations once reservations are all claimed. This is certain to occur days before the holiday. Any additional seating chances will be on a walk-in basis only.
