A treat for mom is a treat for all when celebrating Mother’s Day at Sun Wah BBQ. The restaurant will maintain normal business hours but be aware of increased walk-in wait times if savvy patrons phone-in their reservations days in advance snapping up all the prime time slots.
April 9, 2023 – Easter Hours
Sun Wah BBQ will maintain its regular business hours for Easter Sunday. Carry-out service starts at 9:00am. Dining room opens at 10:30am. Final seating takes place at 8:30pm with our front and rear kitchens closing for the night.
April 7, 2023 – National Beer Day
National Beer Day falls on a Friday. Do we really need to twist your arm to celebrate it?
March 31, 2023 – National Oyster & Clams Day
Friday at the end of March is designated for appreciation of oysters and clams — those tasty bivalves that steam beautifully with ginger & scallions or stir fry with black bean sauce.
March 1, 2023 – National Pig Day
Wednesday is a great day to celebrate National Pig Day. Sun Wah BBQ will be doing its part to create delicious tributes like its Hong Kong style Roast Pork.
February 14, 2023 – Valentine’s Day
In 2023, Valentine’s Day falls on a Tuesday. While weekdays are relatively easy days to score a dine-in table as a walk-in, this may not be the case for Valentine’s Day. Consider reserving that romantic table-for-two before someone else does! Sun Wah BBQ will maintain normal business hours for this day. Final seating with kitchens closing at 8:30pm.
Jan 28, 2023 – Festive Celebrations!
In the Argyle neighborhood, Chinese New Year festivities will take place Saturday January 28, 2023. Lion dancers and accompanying troop are expected at Sun Wah BBQ at noon to usher in the new year. Charge up those camera phones!
