Saturday January 21, 2023 marks the eve of the Chinese lunar New Year. For Chinese around the world, this day his held in regard as the opportunity to gather with family. Many Sun Wah BBQ patrons have called well enough in advance where reservations for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are now fully booked. Any further dine-in possibilities will be on a Walk-In waitlist basis. The restaurant continues with normal business hours for Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24, 2022.

For Christmas Day Sunday, December 25, 2022 Sun Wah BBQ opens at 8:30am to start carry-out service. Dining room opens at 10:30am to dine-in patrons. Final seating for the dining room is at 4:30pm. Carry outs halt at 5pm.

Sun Wah BBQ will have limited hours for Thanksgiving Thursday in 2022. Carry-out counter will be open starting at 9:00am. Dining room service begins at 10:00am with final seating at 4:30pm. This year more than ever, an advance reservation will be highly recommended as walk-in wait times may start tickling the 2-hour mark — or not available at all if it shoots beyond the 4:30pm final seating. Walk-in carry out orders may also take considerably longer to fulfill on this busy day.

Sun Wah BBQ will be open within its normal business hours on Monday, September 5, 2022. Carry out is available starting at 9:00am. Dining room is open at 10:30am. The restaurant closes for staff lunch between 2:00-2:40pm. Our kitchens close at 8:30pm.

Sun Wah BBQ will be open for the 4th of July Monday with limited business hours. This starts with carry out service beginning at 9:00am. Dining room service opens at 10:30am and continues throughout the remainder of the day until last seating at an earlier 7:00pm. The kitchens close at 8:00opm.

Sunday the 19th is Father’s Day and Sun Wah BBQ will be open with its normal business hours (indicated below). Make sure dad sails past the dining room walk-in wait crowd by reserving your table before available time slots are all taken. June 19 also happens to be National Martini Day. Coincidence or kismet?

Sun Wah BBQ will maintain normal business hours on Memorial Day Monday. Doors open for carry out 9:00am. Dining room services begin at 10:30am for reserved guests and walk-ins. Our kitchens close at 8:30pm.

Sun Wah BBQ will be open for Mother’s Day Sunday. Doors open at 9:00am for carry out while dine-in services start at 10:30am. Available reservations will likely be fully booked days in advance leaving only walk-in opportunities for the rest. Kitchen closes at 8:30pm.
