In the Argyle neighborhood, Chinese New Year festivities will take place Saturday January 28, 2023. Lion dancers and accompanying troop are expected at Sun Wah BBQ at noon to usher in the new year. Charge up those camera phones!
After their visit to the restaurant, the Uptown Chinese New Year Parade kicks off at 1:00pm. Usual staging area is near the CTA Redline station, but if not, the large crowd on Argyle street will not be hard to spot.
