Sun Wah BBQ will be open on the first day of the New Year with its normal business hours starting with the carry out counter at 9:00am. Dining room is available starting at 10:30am. The crew takes its 40minute lunch break at 2:00pm and reconvene after that with service continuing until its kitchens close at 8:30pm. Have a happy & healthy 2025!

December 25, 2024 – Christmas hours

For Christmas Wednesday, Sun Wah BBQ will be open with limited hours. Our front carry out counter starts at 8:30am for pick up orders. Dining room begins service at 10:30am. Reservations for this entire day have already been fully booked. Any chances of grabbing an open table will be on a walk in basis at this point. Our final seating for this day will be at 4:30pm. Front counter for carry outs will finish at 5:00pm.

December 24, 2024 – Christmas Eve

For 2024, Christmas Eve falls on a Tuesday. Sun Wah BBQ will hold normal business hours with the dining room opening at 10:30am. Service continues until 8:30pm where the kitchens close for the evening. As of this post, dinner reservations for this day have been fully booked by patrons who have contacted us well in advance. This leaves some limited walk-in spots for those willing to wait. For those who don’t, rest assured there’s always carry-out.

November 28, 2024 – Thanksgiving Hours

Sun Wah BBQ has limited hours for Thanksgiving Thursday in 2024. Carry-out counter opens starting at 8:30am. Dining room service begins at 10:00am with final seating at 4:30pm. Advance reservation is always recommended as walk-in wait times may start tickling the 2-hour mark — or not available at all if it shoots beyond the 4:30pm final seating. Walk-in carry out orders may also take considerably longer to fulfill on this busy day.

October 6, 2024 – National Noodle Day

Sunday October 6 this year marks National Noodle Day. Sun Wah BBQ’s menu covers the gamut of noodles served throughout Hong Kong and southern China. Most of our noodle varieties can be prepared in a soup, lo mein, or stir fry form. The wide scale of toppings and add-ins can create a staggering number of noodle dish variations.
