The Eats Week event from April 27 to May 7 was held in celebration of James Beard’s culinary legacy. Sun Wah BBQ was among the 138 participating restaurants who created dishes to mark this occasion. Enjoy this clip by the good folks at the James Beard Foundation:

Back in our New York days, Grandpa would take a salt-baked chicken and on an improvised a table out on the sidewalk, carve out the meat and proceed to toss it with various ingredients. The spectacle was plenty to stop people in their tracks and inquire about getting some for themselves!
